Eileen Boyes, bingo caller Mark Sanders, drums and percussion Conceived and produced by Simon Thackray The world premiere of Mrs Boyes' Bingo featuring Mark Sanders was presented at The Shed in June 1999. It was one of several unique events to be premiered at The Shed 'far removed' weekend of improvised music and poetry including the famous Yorkshire Pudding Boat Race. 20 people witnessed Mrs Boyes' Bingo on that first occasion - 14 people bought tickets and the rest were herded in from the village to make up numbers. This event was (and still is) totally unrehearsed...but it works and it's great fun. Mrs Boyes' Bingo featuring Mark Sanders most recent performances were in October 2009 in the famous Spiegeltent at Belfast Festival and The Shed.
