It isn't like this anymore. but several people are using this image without permission.
Yorkersgate, Malton with St. Leonard’s church in the far distance and the newly refurbished Talbot Hotel on the right. This photo is out of date – the Talbot has had all the ivy taken off and is now a very smart building. James Martin is the executive chef.

Not so many people are using the image below of Newbiggin and Wheelgate, Malton but it shows what used to be Jackson’s supermarket on the right and again, St. Leaonards church in the background. I think Malton Town Council and the business community are missing a trick by not lighting the tower and spire of St. Leonard’s at night. It isn’t York Minster but it would make an attractive addition to the town-scape at night.
It will be interesting to see how many of these appear.
